Ramifonia is a collaborative social network where musicians publish musical ideas (“seeds”) and others record layers on top, forming a tree of versions. By using Ramifonia you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the platform, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age required by applicable law to create an account. Minors require guardian consent as required by law.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of the audio and other content you publish. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display and stream that content solely to operate and promote the platform.
This license lasts while the content is published and for a reasonable period after removal, for technical (backups) and legal purposes.
5. Collaborative compositions (the tree)
By publishing a seed open to collaboration, you expressly authorize other users to create layers and derivative versions from it within the platform.
Each collaborator retains ownership of their own layer. The resulting work is collaborative; authorship of each part is always displayed (attribution right). Rules on layer removal, commercial use and revenue sharing will be detailed by Ramifonia.
6. Prohibited content
You agree to publish only content you authored or for which you hold all necessary rights. Uploading third-party works without authorization is prohibited, including songs, recordings, samples and copyrighted backing tracks.
Illegal, offensive, rights-infringing content, spam, or anything compromising platform security is also prohibited.
7. Copyright and reports
We respect copyright. If you believe content infringes your rights, use the channel described on our Copyright page. We apply a notice-and-takedown policy and terminate repeat infringers.
8. Moderation
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law, following appropriate procedures.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ramifonia is not liable for user-published content or for indirect damages arising from use of the service.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated. Continued use after an update means acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
